Back to POUND!

I have to say that as I am writing this, I am beyond excited about the prospect of tomorrow: the 17th May and the day I get to lead my first live, face to face POUND class in almost seven months! I had only really just got my classes up and running before the first lockdown, which, of course was then followed by another, not to forget the Tier System and the fact that as part of Greater Manchester, we were in Tier 3 so no indoor exercise classes!

But tomorrow it is all set to change. For the majority of the past 14 months the classes have been transmitted via Zoom from our dining room. There have been varied numbers joining in over the months, with a small and totally loyal core, who have stuck with it, even when the internet has been rubbish.

But tomorrow I am once again expecting a near to full capacity within the COVID limitations.

The thing with my POUND class is that they are a totally amazing bunch of people who are so caring of one another. The class has a real family feel to it and any new comer is immediately put at ease. No one is made to feel inadequate. We are there to workout and to have the best fun whilst we are doing it. I canโ€™t tell you the number of times Iโ€™ve collapsed laughing over the course of the past year, and that has been at myself! POUND is definitely one of those fitness activities where you donโ€™t have to take yourself too seriously.

So tomorrow is a whole new start, a new exciting chapter not only for me, but for everyone who has opted to become a part of this Revโ€™s POUND family.
