‘I alone know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ These words from the Old Testament, from Jeremiah 29 have spoken to me for many years.
Sometimes we find it difficult to understand what’s going on in our lives and the reasons why things happen as they do. We wonder where things are heading. It’s at these times that I hold onto these wise words from Jeremiah. I believe that God has a purpose for each of us us. He certainly has a purpose for me!
A couple of months ago, I announced my retirement from parish ministry; at the time I didn’t know what I might be going on to do, I just trusted that God had not finished with me! Well this has proven to be very much the case.
I am hoping to be able to reveal all very shortly, but for now I can share with you a huge feeling if excitement for everything that is falling into place!
Over the past two weeks so many opportunities have presented themselves and I am just so excited!
